The Gorge Kitten Project is a Washington State non-profit. We work with other animal rescue organizations to facilitate spay/neuter and medical care for homeless and feral cats and to assist in getting homeless kittens into adopted homes.
We do not provide direct services and are just a few volunteers who work through other organizations. We work through Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue to provide donation-based spay/neuter services for homeless and feral cats at the Lyle Activity Center. If you know of homeless cats or kittens that need spaying or neutering, visit this link and fill out the form. A volunteer will contact you.
Neither Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue nor the Gorge Kitten Project operates a shelter. In-take of kittens is accepted only when there are foster homes available.

The Gorge Kitten Project received support from the Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies. The Federation receives revenue from the sale of the "We Love Our Pets" license plates. If you are a resident of Washington state you can help increase funding for spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats in Washington by purchasing these plates.
